We can ship to virtually any port or destination around the world. Shipments to each country leave the port of Keelung, Taiwan once a week. “Closing Date” is the day in which your books must be delivered to our local port for loading, customs, and inspections. We recommend timing your project to finish production one or two days before the closing date. Otherwise, if we miss our local port’s weekly closing dates, we will need to wait until the following week before your shipment can go out. After your shipment is delivered to our port, a waiting period of 2 to 5 days is needed before the actual vessels can go out. “Transit Time” is the number of days your shipment will spend in ocean/rail transit to the destination port only and does not include the extra 2 to 5 day lead-time needed to prepare your books for shipment. Shipments to inland ports are discharged at the closest nearby seaport then railed over to the destination city. DDP/DDU shipments require an additional 5 to 7 day transit time before they arrive at your door.

We offer a variety of shipping methods suited to your individual shipping preferences.

Ex Works- You handle the entire shipment yourself. Books will be packed, palletized, and await pickup at our factory. You or your forwarder will be responsible for loading the goods on truck or container at our factory, and for the subsequent delivery costs.

FOB (Free on Board)- We deliver the books to our local port in Keelung, Taiwan. You will be responsible for the main carriage/freight, cargo insurance and other costs of delivery.

CIF (Cost, Insurance, and Freight)- We deliver the books to your destination port. The cargo insurance and delivery of goods to the destination port will be handled by Choice. You are responsible for the import customs clearance, local inland delivery and other associated costs.

DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid)- We take care of the entire shipment to your door, except for custom’s clearance and the payment of duties and taxes.

DDP (Delivered Duty Paid)- We take care of the entire shipment to your door and assume responsibility for most of the expenses, which include the cargo insurance, import customs clearance, and payment of customs duties and taxes.
